Lately my heart has been wandering through the streets of this spectacular city, after all the horrifying damage it has experienced after the nasty wrath of Sandy.
Undoubtedly, Manhattan and it’s boroughs continue on working together to come back stronger than ever, and it will do so because of all the passionate citizens, that have such infatuation for their magical city.
One of my favorite treasures to visit while in New York City is the South Street Seaport. More specifically the New Amsterdam Market which is located on South Street between Beekman Street and Peck Slip. It is filled with numerous vendors made up of small businesses such as butchers, farmers, and the occasional craftsman. Displaying their fresh food and other related creations made with locally grown or selectively imported goods. Next time you are in this fabulous city, stray away from the bustling crowds and bright lights, and head towards the remarkable South Street Seaport.
I captured these images when I visited New York City last year.
